Eligible poster presenters were contacted to confirm their participation in the competition. If you are not sure if you are signed up to participate, please consult this list.

Instructions for Participants in the Undergrad Poster Competition

Please follow these instructions for Sunday evening.

  1. Arrive at Hall D (Poster-Exhibit Hall) to enter at 7:30 pm. This is the ‘soft’ opening time for the Opening Reception. Do not attempt to enter before 7:30 pm, thank you.

  2. When you enter the boards for the Undergrad Poster Competition will be immediately to your LEFT. The boards will all be numbered for the week, do not disturb these numbers please! The boards for your use will be labelled with YOUR NAME. This will be a 8.5x11 in sign with your name in the middle of the board. You can move your nametag to the side / rim of the board and mount your poster in the middle of the board.
A floor plan/map illustrating the above is posted HERE.

  3. If you need pushpins there is a Poster Supplies counter to the RIGHT when you enter the Hall.

  4. There are 11 judges that will circulate and listen to your ‘poster presentation’. There may be some regular attendees (not judges) that may also listen in or just drop by.

  5. Remove your poster at the end of the competition and take it with you to your hotel. You will then bring your poster back to the convention center on your assigned poster presentation day (Monday MP, Tuesday TP, Wednesday WP, or Thursday ThP).

The competition on Sunday evening is IN ADDITION TO your scheduled poster presentation Monday-Thursday. This means you will present your poster two times during the conference (once on Sunday evening and then again on your assigned day Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs).
