Estimated Attendance for ASMS 2021

Posted July 21, 2021
Based on historical attendance records and total abstracts submitted for 2021, less any posters that have already declared preference for 'remote posters', we anticipate a total of 3,500 - 4,000 in-person attendees in Philadelphia.

Please note these anticipated numbers are an estimate only and may go up or down as we get closer to the conference date and attendees (and their employers) weigh the pandemic situation and whether or not they will attend in person. We remain optimistic, but realistic when faced with travel restrictions and unknown implications of Covid-19 variants that could radically change anticipated number of in-person attendees.

We anticipate being able to provide a meaningful update again in early October following the September 30 Advance Registration deadline.

Cancellation Policy 2021

Cancellation of breakfast/dinner room, exhibit booth, sponsorship or corporate poster on or before September 15, 2021: 50% of paid exhibit booth, sponsorship or corporate poster will be refunded. Corporate Members will have the option to receive the 50% refund or they may apply the 50% refund toward ASMS 2022. Corporate Member dues are non-refundable.

Cancellations after September 15, 2021: No refunds. 50% of paid 2021 breakfast/dinner room, exhibit booth, sponsorship or corporate poster fees will be applied toward ASMS 2022. Corporate Member dues are non-refundable.


About ASMS Corporate Members and Opportunities for Exhibitors and Sponsors

Companies are invited to participate as an exhibitor or sponsor of ASMS conferences as a benefit of ASMS Corporate Membership. Corporate member dues ($650 per company) are paid annually. Most companies join or renew their corporate membership in conjunction with the Annual Conference Prospectus.  

The Annual Conference Prospectus (which includes exhibit booth order forms) is available October 31 each year and is posted on our website to this page. If your company is new to ASMS and would like to be added to our mailing list prior to October, please contact Miquela Sena.

  • At the Annual ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics, corporate members may distribute literature, host a hospitality suite or exhibit booth, hold a breakfast seminar, and present a news conference for press and financial analysts.  Sponsorship opportunities are also available to increase your company's recognition at the meeting.
  • Opportunities for sponsorship of the three smaller, more focused ASMS meeting (Asilomar Conference, Fall Workshop and Sanibel Conference) are also available.  For details on the upcoming small meeting topics and sponsorship options, please visit the specific small meeting conference pages.
  • Corporate Members receive the benefit of free job postings on the online Career Center. Detailed instructions on how to post a free job listing are located in the Resources for Corporate Members section of this webpage.
