The conference registration fees will be the same regardless of participation type: $200 members ($400 non-members) and $90 student members ($160 non-member students).

Planned for September 14 deployment: all registered attendees will have access to a questionnaire where in-person or remote attendance can be indicated. Registered attendees will receive email notification when questionnaire is 'live' in their profiles.

Conference Registration Fees

ASMS Members*:  $200 regular, $90 students†, $0 emeritus**
Non-Members: $400 regular, $160 students†

*To register as a member, ASMS dues for 2021 must be processed by ASMS prior to conference registration.  **To register as an Emeritus member, your Emeritus membership must be active (renewed) for the conference year. See Membership page for details.
To qualify for the student rate you must be enrolled full-time in a degree program up to and including the Ph.D. at the time of the conference.

Fall Workshop and Short Course Tuition Fees

Fall Workshop and Short course registration are part of our online registration system for the 69th ASMS. Conference registration is not required if you will attend the Fall Workshop or a Short Course-only. If any courses are offered online post-conference a separate registration instance will be created for online courses only. Fees remain the same for online courses.

  • ASMS Members*: $400 Fall Workshop or Two-day courses** and $300 One-day courses
  • Non-Members: $700 Fall Workshop or Two-day courses and $500 One-day courses
  • Students: $150 Fall Workshop or Two-day courses and $75 One-day courses

*To register as a member, ASMS dues for 2021 must be processed by ASMS prior to conference registration.
**Fees for course 03 is increased to cover cost of a textbook.

You may add a short course to your existing registration at any time. Please login to this website and go to Online Registration. If you are already registered for the conference you will see a green check box for registration but you will still have the option to "Buy" items such as short course.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests for refund must be received by on or before October 15. After October 15, no refunds. For cancellation requests received on or by the October 15 deadline, a $40 is deducted from the total refund to cover the cost of handling and processing.

Remote attendees of the conference will receive full access to all oral session, plenary and tutorial recordings as well as all posters (in-person and remote.) Evening workshops will be available as live-stream only (not recorded.)
